Clean benches and laminar flow workstations were originally developed to supplement or substitute for expensive clean room technology. Today, modular clean benches offer a contamination-free space for working in clinical, industrial, biotech and similar processes that require precise, contamination-free management.
As part of our extensive product line, Air Science clean benches are designed to protect non-hazardous materials or processes on the work surface by providing a gentle flow of HEPA filtered air in a unidirectional pattern. Although clean benches are not designed to protect the user, laboratory personnel or the environment, the HEPA filter traps 99.999% of non-hazardous airborne particles greater than or less than 0.3 microns to sustain a clean work area. Ample lighting and ergonomically designed cabinets assure comfort.
